Jackson and Hannah
We're looking to adopt a baby
Hey there! We are Hannah and Jackson! Thanks for choosing to read our story and learn more about us!
We met in college but didn’t start dating until closer to graduation. Jackson was recruited to play baseball while Hannah was recruited to play softball. We first met while serving at a wheelchair basketball game and even lived in the same apartment building on campus; however, we didn’t become friends until the end of college. Hannah often says she would wave to Jackson on campus, and he comes back with, “I didn’t have time to wave at all of my groupies” (said very sarcastically.)
By God’s kindness, we ended up in the same business class where our friendship started to develop. Sparks didn’t start to fly, at least for Hannah, until eight months later. We had our first date on December 11, 2015, were engaged November of 2016, and married July of 2017.
With adoption being a part of both our family and friend circles, we always have had a passion to adopt! We actively started trying for children after being married for two years and essentially lived in the “not pregnant for no reason” camp for three years. While there were hard days, we had peace in knowing there would be a time where we would become parents through adoption.
After stepping into the process, when we were one step away from our certification being complete, we found out we were pregnant with our son, Fletcher! We paused our process and renewed our journey right before Fletcher’s 2nd birthday. So, here we are, back at it again and expectant for what God will do through adoption!
